![]() Copper, silver, and gold are just a few of the precious metals that are in abundance on some planets, but one planet may not have a specific metal you need, requiring you to hunt it down on another. The player needs to collect food (in the form of fruit/vegetables that occur naturally on the planet, or hunt for animals, although you need a hunting bow for this to be more effective.) Depending on the difficulty you chose, you may not have to worry about death penalties or hunger if you are on casual otherwise you lose pixels and some items you are carrying upon death (Pixels only if you are in a mission area.) As with any other mining game, there are various ores for the player to collect to craft and upgrade their tools. As for upgrades for the manipulator, you find them as you progress in the game (finding them in loot boxes, killing enemies, quest rewards, etc.) This allows you to dig faster, have a bigger square of effect, and have a further reach with it.
